Fact #2 as told by the makers of Christmas, including David Foster and Jochem van der saag: Michael flew Mitch - his beloved grandfather who is very knowledgeable about music and has been a great inspiration to Michael from the start of his career - down from Canada to sit in the middle of the 'Capitol Studio A' while he was recording big band on various songs for this album; in his eighties, Mitch was beaming like a ten year old on Christmas morning! Only to fall asleep on the couch ten minutes later.
