Michael Bublé – “Crazy Love” Tour
Melbourne - Rod Laver Arena
Friday, 25th February
- Monique A

With Naturally 7 beginning the party with their spectacular vocal play acapella, the crowd were more than warmed up for the entrance of Michael Bublè at his 25th of February show at Rod Laver Arena. Making a big arrival to the instrumental opening of Cry Me a River, he had the hearts of Rod Laver Arena in that single moment. After putting the entire audience into tears of laughter with his wit and charm, Michael continued to serenade his audience with such hits as “Everything” and “Crazy Love”.

The funny moments continued short after with a humorous introduction to the band and an insight into Michael’s love of music and his idolisation of Michael Jackson, leading to a hilarious rendition of Billie Jean complete with dance moves. Michael continued to delight all his fans with karaoke of the crowd favourite, “Home” and a performance of his new song “Hollywood”. Closing out the main set with the classic “Heartache Tonight” and hit song “Haven’t Met You Yet”, by far the most enjoyable song of the night for both Michael and the audience.

The encore after a 3 minute standing ovation closed out the show perfectly with an ideal of combination of “Feeling Good”, “Me and Mrs Jones” and the ultimate finale, “Song for You”. This song was a heartfelt thank you to all his fans and his removal of his microphones for the last verse made it that much more personal and for that single moment you were the only one in that massive stadium and he was singing to you, only you.

A spectacular concert that proved there’s more to Michael Bublè than suits and Big Band, but rather a comedic, personal man whom can make you feel like you’re in a small bar even when you’re surrounded by 15,000 other adoring fans, he’s always singing to you, no one else.
