Some of Canada's biggest performers will honour this year's songwriter and song inductees at the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame 4th Annual Gala on Sunday, January 28, 2007 at the Metro Convention Centre in Toronto, Ontario.
Among those honoring this year's inductees, which include Joni Mitchell, will be Michael Buble, James Taylor and Chaka Khan.
The show will be broadcast nationally on Jan. 29 on CBC Radio One, from 11am -12 noon and on CBC Radio Two from 8-10 p.m.
CBC Television will also broadcast Words to Music: The Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame on Monday, March 5, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. (8:30 p.m. NT), including musical salutes to Modern Era inductee Joni Mitchell and Radio Era inductee Wilf Carter.
