Michael has won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Guest Performance, Comedy, for his role on Season 3 (2021) of Jann Arden’s CTV Comedy, JANN. 

“I’m so proud on behalf of an incredible crew, actors, and writers. It was such a pleasure and I’m so glad that I could be a small part of it, and to have been honoured in this way”, stated Michael.

The launch of Michael’s new album will be celebrated in spectacular fashion with his new video for the ‘higher’ single which will physically premiere from outer space on youtube Friday at 6am PDT. A custom built “MB aircraft has been created by UK company, Sent Into Space which will launch the video directly to Michael’s youtube channel. The stunning video has been choreographed and directed by Derek Hough.

Michael has announced a return to Australian stages in November and December 2022! The 6-city national HIGHER Tour kicks off in Newcastle on 30 November before touring to Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane.

“I have been touring Australia for 20 years now and the fact that you all keep turning up to my shows makes me feel like the luckiest man alive,” Michael says. “I absolutely adore performing live, being on stage is complete and utter enjoyment for me. It’s a great pleasure and honour for me to be able to show up and feel so welcome.”
